Have your say on the Cockburn Central Tower Display

The Faces of the Community artwork has been on display on the Cockburn Central Station tower since 2006.

The two portraits were created by artists Rodney Glick and Marco Marcon by combining more than 250 photographs of local residents.

The images of a teenager and a senior citizen were representative of the age groups who are frequent users of public transport and also suggest the notion of a life journey.

After 13 years of being a hot topic of conversation among locals and commuters this artwork has seen a few too many summers and has deteriorated. In October 2019 the faces were removed due to maintenance issues.
