Level crossing safety campaign

Level crossing

One of our BIGGEST safety concerns is driver behaviour at level-crossings. Each year we see too many people come very close to being hit (or actually getting hit) by a train. Often, they have misjudged the space available on the other side of the crossing and can’t get off the yellow grid. Other times drivers race over the level-crossing when the bells and lights are already on. This behaviour may rarely result in a hit but when it does, it’s catastrophic.

To remind drivers of the risks we’ve asked a creative team to come up with a few campaign designs and we want your opinion on which one you think is more effective. Vote on options 1, 2, 3 or 4 below and let us know if you have any other thoughts or feedback on how we can better educate drivers to stop this risky behaviour.
