Help shape the future of Malaga
Just 21-minutes from the Perth CBD on the new Morley-Ellenbrook Line sits the new Malaga Station site, north-east of the Tonkin Highway and Marshall Road junction, providing efficient transport links to the suburbs of Landsdale, Alexander Heights, Ballajura, Malaga and Bennett Springs. The station will be at the heart of a new town centre, planned over the next 30 years.
To make the most of the investment in Malaga Station, a precinct structure plan is being developed in consultation with community, local and state stakeholders.
The Malaga Station Precinct Structure Plan will guide future roads, community facilities, schools, open space and land use in the area surrounding the station. It will also include detail on zoning for transit-orientated residential and employment development opportunities.
Thank you taking part in our community survey to help the vision and roadmap for the future area around Malaga Station. You told us that landscaping and green spaces, cycling and walking connections, and diverse business and employment opportunities are what you want to see in the future area. This feedback is now being used to help shape the draft precinct structure plan, with more opportunities to provide feedback in 2022.
