The Thornlie-Cockburn Link will deliver new train services to residents in Perth's south-eastern suburbs and provide cross suburban connectivity.

In addition to the new train line, a new supporting bus network will also be introduced. The bus network will feature new routes as well as some significant changes to several existing routes.

The new bus services will build on existing network coverage and expand service provision in Canning Vale, Parkwood, Lynwood, and Thornlie, and will enable greater frequency and expanded hours of operation on a number of routes.
