Why would Route 544 be introduced?
We undertake regular reviews of the bus network to ensure that routes operate efficiently and meet demand. The proposed Route 544 provide more convenient public transport access for The Village at Wellard, Emerald Park and Providence Estates.
Route 544 would also operate a coordinated service with existing Route 543 along Johnson Road, increasing service frequency for Bertram residents.
If this new bus service is preferred, when will it be implemented?
Route 544 would be introduced in early 2021.
