The Shared and Separated Path Guidelines have been developed to provide practitioners with guidance surrounding the planning and design of shared and separated paths. The document is intended to be a convenient and practical reference guide aimed at practitioners with varying levels of experience. As a cycling-focused guideline, this document concentrates on off-road paths which enable the safe and efficient movement of people on bikes.
