Launching boat off Broome.

The Swan River is an iconic waterway at the foot of our beautiful city.

If you’re one of the hundreds of thousands of people who love getting out on the Swan River, have your say today on proposed changes to the use of waters upstream of the Windan Bridge.

The Department of Transport (DoT) has commenced the Swan River (Upper Reaches) Aquatic Use Review (AUR) which aims to maximise safety, equitable use and community benefit of this increasingly busy part of the river.

DoT is seeking comment from the wider community in relation to proposed changes to the aquatic management of the area drafted in consultation with key stakeholders earlier this year.

Your comments are an important part of the AUR process and will be carefully considered by DoT prior to any changes being made and formally gazetted as law.
