You are invited to participate in the Westport Program Industry Briefing on Wednesday, 11 November 2020.
The purpose of this event is to update consultants and contractors on Westport's progress, and the key objectives associated with the next stage of our work.
Details
Venue: Level 2, Gordon Stephenson House, 140 William Street, Perth.
Online participation: If you would like to attend this briefing using Microsoft Teams, please email the Westport Office at enquiries@westport.wa.gov.au to register, and you will be sent a meeting link.
Arrival: Participants are requested to arrive between 9:00am and 9:15am to sign in.
Duration: The briefing will commence at 9:30am and will conclude by 10:30am.

Fremantle WA 6160PIANC APAC 2020 will bring together engineers, planners, scientists and researchers to focus on the technological, scientific, policy, planning and design issues related to our diverse and developing ports, harbours and recreational boating facilities.
The Conference will incorporate concurrent streams facilitating the opportunity for discussion and networking. A trade exhibition will host the Welcome Reception as well as all morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch breaks. A Gala Conference Dinner is planned with multiple PIANC awards to be presented. In addition, technical tours and networking events will form part of the Conference.

2020-2021 Stage 2B (transition stage)
Westport Events is currently at this stageThis stage will further investigate issues that were not closed during Stage 2, and activities such as corridor protection, developing detailed designs and commencement of environmental monitoring in Cockburn Sound to start building resilience.
The Westport process will continue to be consultative, supported by a strong governance framework and based on reliable, well-researched information and realistic forecasting data.

2021-2024 Stage 3
this is an upcoming stage for Westport EventsDuring this stage, Westport will be continuing activities such as corridor protection; environmental studies in preparation for project referral to the Environmental Protection Authority and to develop resilience building initiatives in Cockburn Sound; assessing the commercial implications of transition options; preparation of a business case; and targeted engagement with key stakeholders and interest groups.
