Transperth are currently seeking community feedback on proposed changes to the East Cannington bus network. The proposed network aims to deliver improved service frequencies throughout the day along with extended operating hours. It will reduce duplication to create a simpler, more legible network, with all routes connecting to Carousel Shopping Centre. Strong coordination between Cannington Station and Carousel Shopping Centre will provide a high-frequency corridor between these key destinations.

The changes also introduce new direct connections to Carousel Shopping Centre from areas such as Rivervale, Kewdale, Welshpool and Perth Airport. More direct routes are proposed to improve travel times for residents in East Cannington, Beckenham, Wattle Grove, Forrestfield and Kenwick. Collectively, these improvements will support future densification around Cannington Station and enhance connectivity across the wider region.
