Consultation has concluded
We are seeking community feedback on a proposed new bus service (Route 544) which would operate between Kwinana Station and Wellard Station, via Bertram & Wellard.
This new service would see the Transperth network provide more convenient public transport access for The Village at Wellard, Emerald Park and Providence estates.
New Route 544 is proposed to operate seven days a week at the following times:
Every 20 minutes during weekday peak periods
Every 60 minutes during weekday off peak periods
Every 60 minutes during the day on Saturdays and Sundays.
Services would be timed to formally connect with trains at Kwinana Station.
New Route 544 would operate a coordinated service with existing Route 543 along Johnson Rd, increasing service frequency for Bertram residents at the following times:
Every 10-20 minutes during weekday peak periods
Every 30 minutes during weekday off peak periods
Every 30 minutes during the day on Saturdays and Sundays.
