Transperth is introducing electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities to a number of car parks at train stations across our network. Transperth will monitor the use of the EV chargers over a 12-month trial period to understand the viability of installing them at other train stations in the future.

The chargers will operate at up to 7kW, taking approximately eight hours to charge a typical EV. Bays will be marked as ‘Electric Vehicles Only’. The charging fee is a flat rate of $22.50 per day which covers the cost of electricity and operating the charger.

We’d like your feedback on the chargers to help us assess the viability of installing EV chargers at other stations across the wider Transperth network.
